We would address them as “you” (for a woman older than speaker’s mother) or “you” (for a woman younger than speaker’s mother). เราก็จะเรียกว่า ป้า หรือว่า น้า
We will address them with the word “you” (for older people) you...you er...how much is this? เราก็จะเรียกว่าพี่ พี่..พี่ เอ่อ..อันนี้เท่าไหร่ครับ?
We will use the language that er...makes more intimacy. เราก็จะใช้ภาษาที่ เอ่อ..ทำให้เกิดความสนิทสนมมากขึ้น
We should use the words “me” or “you” when talking with someone. เราควรจะใช้คำว่า ผม หรือว่า คุณ เวลาเรียกคนอื่น
We should use the word “you” (for people older than you) or “you” (for people younger than you). เราควรจะใช้คำว่า พี่ หรือว่า น้อง แทน
We will have to say something that is gentle. เราจะต้องพูดอะไรที่มันแบบอ่อนโยน
We will adjust it to suit for gender. เราจะปรับให้มันเหมาะสมกับเพศ
We will address them using the impolite form of the word “you”. (male polite form) เราจะเรียกเขาว่าพี่นะครับ
We might change the impolite form of the word “you”, to the impolite female form of “you”, when addressing women who are our friends. เราอาจจะเปลี่ยนคำว่า มึง เป็นคำว่า แก ก็ได้ เวลาเรียกผู้หญิงที่เป็นเพื่อนกันอะ
We may be use the informal form of the word “I”. เราอาจจะแทนตัวเองว่า เรา นะครับ
We don’t use the impolite form of “you” or “I” with a friend of opposite sex. เราไม่ใช้ มึง กู กับเพื่อนต่างเพศนะครับ
When I talk to my friends. เวลาที่ผมคุยกับเพื่อนเนี่ย
when I meet a waitress เวลาที่ผมเจอเด็กเสิร์ฟ
When my friends come to my house. เวลาที่เพื่อนผมมาบ้าน
When I buy something then I will say “you”...“you” (using the form for older people), how much is this? เวลาผมซื้อของเงี้ย ผมจะพูดว่า พี่..พี่ เท่าไหร่?
Yeah, I am going too. (impolite form) เออ กูไปด้วย
You... I have heard that you are working now. แก..ช่วงนี้ได้ข่าวว่าทำงานนี่นา
