Ability to see and reset level of words and phrases

I'm pleased to announce that you can now see the level that any word or phrase has reached and you can also reset that level.

You may know from FAQ about levels for the words and phrases that as you get to know words and phrases better (as shown by getting questions right) they are moved to higher and higher levels, and so are gradually asked less and less frequently.

Using "Auto Breakdown"

Auto Breakdown is a feature which allows you to more easily add a complete literal breakdown for a word or phrase.

Before using this feature, it is important that you are fully skilled at doing the Literal Breakdown manually, so that you can check everything is correct.

The feature is available on the "Auto Breakdown" tab. In the following example, the phrase has not been broken down at all yet.

Kickstarter campaign failed...but the Lingopolo vision goes on!

The Lingopolo campaign on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter has now finished. Unfortunately, it did not get anywhere near reaching the funding goal I set for it. I have many theories as to why that was the case: the principal one, I think, was overly ambitious target, with too few people already knowing about Lingopolo.

Ability to switch off the high-score sound

If you are doing a lot of questions and quizzes, you will probably have noticed that there is a little ping sound which plays when you reach a high score.

I'm pleased to say that now, if you would like, you can turn off this sound.

You will find this in your profile, when you click on My account. There is a checkbox where you can choose whether the sound is on or off:
