Cropping the relevant part of a photo

Sometimes the Pixabay photo will have a lot of space around the thing which is of little interest for Lingopolo use. Take for example this Pixabay photo of slippers.

It's a very good picture for slippers, but it has an awful lot of blank space around the slippers:

Now we know how to crop a picture, we can use the same skill to crop the photo to make a much better picture of just the thing we want:

slippers big

Note that to do this, it is usually best to take the biggest original available. In this case the Pixabay image has a version which is 3504 x 2336.
