Duplicates starting with a capital letter

Submitted by admin on 7 November 2025

Another mistake which the automatic creation process makes, is that it will create an entry with a capital letter if that word appears at the start of a sentence. For example, it might create an entry for "Another" when "another" should be used.

For example, a new entry "Estoy" was created because the word "Estoy" appears here at the start of the sentence with upper case.

Unnecessary content duplication

One of the most common problems with automatically created content is that the system creates unnecessary duplicate content. That is the system creates content which is basically the same as existing content, just with slightly different translation. This is not helpful for the student.

Examples:

  • "driver's licence" and "driving licence" (basically the same thing)
  • "walk (2st person singular)", "you walk", "you are walking", "are you walking" (basically all variants of the same thing)

Let's take a look at an example.
