Almost every verb in NL can be used in the long and short form, e.g.:
- worden https://lingopolo.org/dutch/word/to-be-to-become
- te worden https://lingopolo.org/dutch/word/to-be-to-become-long-form
When doing the breakdown for a phrase like https://lingopolo.org/dutch/word/it-was-terribly-cold-snow-was-falling-… you should use the long version directly in the breakdown.
If the long version does not yet exist, created a new entry for the long form.
Example 1: to paint
- to paint (long form) https://lingopolo.org/dutch/word/to-paint-long-form
- to paint a little https://lingopolo.org/dutch/word/to-paint-a-little (Notice how the long form is used in the breakdown)
