Rabbit here is a character in the fictional world of the book series Winnie–the–Pooh, see article on Wikipedia.
The French have translated the name "Rabbit" as "Coco Lapin" (rather like we have Peter Rabit in the Beatrix Potter stories), and then they often use just the name "Coco". Of course a direct literal translation of simply "Rabbit" into French would be "Lapin".
